Who We Are

TAP Co. was founded by qualified gas engineer George Rhodes, City and Guilds (NVQ) level 3, Gas safe registration (4848156).

With ten years of experience in the industry, George has created a highly trained team of plumbers and gas engineers. We have gained skills and experience in all types of plumbing work; from bathroom refurbishments to full central heating systems and everything in between.

Demanding the highest standards from our plumbers, we ensure not only the utmost quality workmanship but that each job we perform is 100% safe and complies with all the necessary regulations.

 

We are public liability assured and always leave a job clean, tidy and completed to the customer's satisfaction. With any potential job, our engineers will make a detailed assessment and talk you through the work that is required. Our technology means that we can usually send you a quotation within a few hours, which can be accepted online instantly or over the phone.

  • Do you charge VAT?

    Yes, we are a VAT registered company. Our VAT number is 362 6061 11.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept bank transfer, cheque, cash, credit cards (Visa & Mastercard) and debit cards. We also offer an online payment link on all our invoices to make payment quick and easy for you. 

  • Do you charge a call-out fee?

    No, we don't charge a call-out fee. We do charge an hourly rate for the first hour - if the issue is repairable within that time and no materials are required, that is the total you will pay.

  • What time is your contact centre open?

    We are available Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. 

  • Can I obtain a reference from a previous customer?

    Yes, of course! Please visit the reviews page on our website, or if you would prefer to speak to someone, please contact our customer services team, and they will gladly arrange for a previous customer to contact you. 

  • How much will the work cost?

    The type of service you require and the product you've chosen will affect the price of the job. However, one thing remains the same – there will be no hidden costs; all work will be fully quoted and approved by you.
